Pombalos Augen leuchten hell auf einem wackeligen Boot im Dunkeln. Er war Fischer in seiner Heimat und machte sich auf
den Weg nach Europa, als die Netze leer blieben. Unterwegs verliert er alles, was ihm noch blieb. Er strandet an einer Küste,
wo Maleika Strandgut sammelt. Ihr Schicksal scheint wie das von Schiffen, die sich nachts begegnen und wieder in der Weite verlieren. Ein kleiner Funke, dann wieder unendliche Weite und
Stille.
Ein Animationsfilm basierend auf Zeichnungen von Flüchtlingen.
A pair of eyes shines brightly on a shaking boat in the darkness, they are Pombalo‘s eyes. A fisherman in Africa, who sets off
to Europe as the nets remained empty. Through an accident in the sea he loses, what was left to him, till he strands at the
coast, where a girl is collecting stranded goods. Their fate seems to end like ships passing in the night. A short sign and then
wide infinity again...

Irgendwo am Ende der düsteren Realität schlummert ein verstecktes Lied auf einer Musikkassette. Zwei Menschen leben im gleichen Wohnblock ohne sich zu kennen - umgeben von Stelleninseraten und
betrunkenen Freunden. Alles fängt damit an,
dass die Heizung ihren Gesang in seine Wohnung überträgt. Ihr Lied führt sie zusammen - und in Schwierigkeiten.
Doch es gibt eine Chance gemeinsam zu entkommen.
Somewhere in the background of grim reality a hidden track lies slumbering on a music cassette. Two people live in the
same block of flats without knowing of each other – surrounded by job ads and drunken friends. Everything starts with
her singing voice reverberating through the heating pipes into his apartment. Her song leads them to each other – and into difficulties. But there is a chance of escaping together.
